Will I have my own apartment?

We offer several options for apartment accommodations including single-occupancy private apartments, apartments with private bedrooms and shared kitchen, living room and bathrooms, and apartments with shared common areas and double occupancy shared bedrooms (with individual beds). If you plan on attending with a friend, the shared bedrooms are a great option!

How many attendees will there be?

In the spirit of connection fostered by intimate groups, this retreat is limited to 15 attendees.

How will I be able to connect with Keynote Speakers?

Speakers, hosts, and support staff will be staying on site. We're excited to be hosted small break-off sessions with our Keynote Speakers to allow for further discussion and connection.

What cities will we visit?

Our plan is to visit stunning Siena and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pienza. Pienza is about 30 minutes away and Siena is about an hour and a half. Both offer beautiful sights, experiences and cultural enrichment.

What does "subject to change" mean regarding the itinerary?

This is simply a disclaimer due to the marginal possibility of situations out of our control, such as inclement weather, strikes, etc. Rest assured your experience will be amazing!

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies in our registration form so that we can make accommodations for you.

 

What will the weather be like?

April is a beautiful time of year in Tuscany! You can expect generally mild weather with highs in the mid-60's and lows in the mid-40's. Rain is always possible.

 

Any tips on packing?

The short answer is that we recommend packing to wear, leaving a little space for bringing goodies back, and air-tagging your luggage if you plan on checking in (maybe even if you don't!). Packing lists will be provided to attendees! 

 

Can I meet other attendees ahead of time?

Yes! Registered attendees get access to a private group in the Geneva app, to stay connected and a virtual group Happy Hour Geneva call will be scheduled before the trip as well!

 

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable, but can be transferred to alternate attendees if needed. Time constraints may apply.

 

Where is the Villa and what is it like?

This is one of the most fun questions to answer, and hard to do it justice with words. In short, the Villa at Chiarentana is absolutely bellisimo! Nestled in the iconic hills of Tuscany, it accommodates all guests, speakers and hosts. Varying levels of privacy are available. 

 

How much Italian do I need to know?

It's fun to be able to engage, but the truth is you really don't need to know much besides gratzi mille! Our hosts + guides have you covered and you'll be treated to a complimentary Italian lesson when we arrive.

 

What travel documentation do I need?

We all know passports are required, but attendees should be aware that passports must not expire within 90 days of our travel. For American attendees, if your passport does expire within this timeframe, you will not be able to board your flight. Please make sure you have your United States drivers license as well.

 

How will we be getting around?

All transportation will provided, unless attendees have separate travel planned before or after the retreat, in which case attendees should arrange their own transportation to and/or from the Villa.

Which airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into Florence or Rome. Please feel free to contact us for further information. ​
